It might be a good idea to attach sponge to the very tip of film-like, flimsy tips. (Explanation of 2-piece tip holder) When the tip doesn't fit with an extension adapter attached, you can remove and hold the tip or adapter. It also serves as a tip tip stay, preventing bending when extending the tip. Attach it to your preferred location. The hole for the tip holder type is 5mm, and the holder is thick, so it's less likely to bend. PP-compatible double-sided tape is attached to the back.
