I bought this for my coming-of-age ceremony furisode (long-sleeved kimono), but it didn't match the furisode I purchased, so I didn't use it. I bought it at a kimono shop for around 10,000 to 12,000 yen. If accessories like hair ornaments and bags don't match, even a wonderful furisode can look cheap, so I searched hard and bought this to match my obi締め (decorative sash tie). It's difficult to find hair ornaments that match kimonos, and I searched around and bought about five. Finally, I found the perfect one, and I didn't use this one. I've opened it several times, so the tape is peeled off, but I don't think I've actually put it in my hair. I might have held it up to my hair, though... For those looking for something purple.
