This is a set of Sange (scattered flowers) and O-kage (sacred images). These are commemorative Sange distributed at each of the Shikoku 88 Temples to commemorate the designation of the Shikoku Pilgrimage as a Japan Heritage site in 2015. They are from temples 1 to 70. They are very valuable as they are no longer obtainable. There is a slit in the middle, and you can cut out an oval (petal) shape. The idea was that by pasting them all together on a large sheet of paper, a colorful large flower would be completed. Currently, they are all uncut, and there are no noticeable stains. However, as they were received by hand from the temples at the time, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things.
