I wore these indoors at the office during the winter. I didn't wear them outside, so they are relatively clean. I wore these in rotation with another pair, so the usage time was relatively short. I also cleaned them regularly. The wool on the inside is black, so the hairs won't be noticeable even if they stick to dark-colored socks or tights. The size is listed as 24cm, but they fit me perfectly, and I usually wear 24.5cm. Overall, the wooly texture hasn't deteriorated, so I think you can still use them warmly.
