I purchased the "Japanese Ancient Temples and Buddhist Statues DVD Collection" released by De Agostini in 2011, but due to my bad habit of intending to watch them "when I have time," I only looked at the covers and left them untouched until today. However, both my husband and I have become elderly, and we're at an age where we need to prepare for the end of life, so I'm putting them up for sale. I deeply regret not even opening the seals and watching them. "Hindsight is 20/20," as they say. I've rambled on a bit, but thank you for reading this far. No. 1 features Horyu-ji Temple, No. 2 Kofuku-ji Temple, No. 3 Todai-ji Temple, and No. 4 Yakushi-ji Temple, covering the appearances of each temple and their Buddhist statues. As I mentioned earlier, I haven't watched the DVDs at all, but I was deeply moved when I visited Kyoto and Nara with my classmates for our 77th birthdays.
