This is a fukuro obi made with Nishijin-ori silk. It features a cool arabesque pattern in silver thread on a white background. Upon closer inspection, the edges of the pattern have a subtle, glossy silver foil, making the lines sparkle. Although it's a white background, the silver foil and silver thread give it a slightly grayish-white appearance. It's recommended for formal occasions such as visiting kimonos, solid-colored kimonos, and furisode, perfect for celebrations. Its clean appearance allows it to be paired with various colored kimonos. The width is 31cm, and the length is approximately 440cm. This is a great value, including the cost of tailoring with a cotton obi core. Please allow approximately 1 to 1.5 weeks for tailoring.
