Although it is a flat color (matte finish), it has glitter, and the paint particles are coarse, so it is quite resistant to the drawbacks of matte finishes, such as the appearance of shine from finger contact. I actually rest my fingers on the body, but it doesn't have the shine of a typical matte finish guitar. The body, neck, and headstock have pearloid binding, making it a beautiful guitar. The pickups are HSH configuration, all made by Fishman. With the 5-way selector and Voice change switch, you can get a wide variety of sounds. The frets are stainless steel, so there is almost no wear.
