This is a 13-string koto. It's a high-grade koto with fine edge leaves, ayasugi carving, a curved back, and beautiful maki-e lacquer work on the tongue. There are no marks from the koto bridges on the soundboard, and the strings show no fraying. There are no cracks on the underside of the soundboard, but there is a repaired crack on the isobe (side). The repair on the isobe does not affect the sound or resonance. It has a beautiful, characteristic koto sound. The sound and resonance have been tested, and a sound check has been performed. There are no unusual sounds. Koto bridges, cat's feet, a tuner, and a practice book (copy) are included.
