Wooden flute Also called a talking flute, used for communication during hunting. Made in Burkina Faso. Size: Length 24.5 cm, diameter of the mouthpiece hole 1.3 cm. It is thought that the flutes used in Africa spread to Europe. Similar flutes also existed in Japan during the Jomon period and are held in museums throughout the country.
