It's a vintage item, almost 100 years old. I bought it about 25 years ago at an antique shop. It's in the same condition as when I bought it. It's really dirty. But the shape is cute, and the painted parts are a very cute color, like pastel blue-green, and I've displayed it for many years. Even so, it can still be used as a pencil sharpener.
