Thank you for viewing. This is a set of 5 Koheigama (Kohei Kiln) "E-gae" (picture-change) individual plates. The size of each plate is approximately 15.3cm in diameter and 2cm in height. Please allow for some error. These are Koheigama's Kenzan-style, color-painted pottery, inspired by the style of Ogata Kenzan, the founder of Kyo-yaki (Kyoto-style ceramics) who was active in the mid-Edo period. They are hand-painted with designs of seasonal plants such as plum and Chinese bellflower, and feature a gorgeous and elegant atmosphere. These individual plates also capture five different types of plants in subdued colors, and by effectively using gold leaf, they create a rich and expressive atmosphere. They are believed to have been produced under the guidance of the fifth-generation Kohei. Please enjoy them with your meals. Unused item. I think the condition is good.
