This is a collection from the early days of the brand's launch. The cache-coeur knit features various chrysanthemum prints, the overlapping of the cache-coeur, and the sleeves, all of which incorporate Japanese elements. However, the cinched waistline creates a defined silhouette, giving it a Western feel and achieving a balanced design. The rayon shirt uses tabi fasteners on the shirt, and I was excited by the freedom of the idea when I first saw it. It's a smooth shirt with a neat collar. Both designs have a slightly higher waistline, which makes them look feminine and stylish. I think these pieces perfectly reflect Keita Maruyama's vision of women. These are favorite combinations, but I haven't worn them much because I've been treasuring them too much. Now, they would look great paired with voluminous bottoms.
