Yanagisawa's Thumb Wizard, for Yanagisawa, lacquer finish. This is the thumb hook and thumb rest that came with the Yanagisawa soprano saxophone S-992. It has a reasonable amount of use, but there are no noticeable rust spots or peeling lacquer. The "yanagisawa" engraving on the hook is black with dirt or rust. There is no deformation of the rest when removing it, which is often seen. This is not a gold-plated aftermarket part. Please note that it is a lacquer type. Thank you for looking.
