This is a set of six large plates with the "Occupied JAPAN" backstamp, a well-known designation for old Noritake. "Occupied JAPAN" refers to "Japan under occupation," and has historical significance. These plates bear the backstamp of Japanese pottery exported to foreign countries, dating back to the period from 1947 to 1953. I have collected a large amount of old Noritake and searched abroad, gathering many pieces with the Occupied JAPAN mark. I believe it's very rare to find six plates in such a pristine condition, without any significant damage. These plates have never been used in my home and have been carefully stored in a room where I keep my treasured items for many years. While there may be some minor surface scratches, there are no noticeable scratches or stains. Considering the meaning of "Occupied JAPAN," I feel that these plates represent the potential for a future world without war. These are very precious and important items to me, so I kindly request that those with any concerns or those who intend to make negative comments refrain from purchasing.
