From Motomaruyasan in Akita City, Akita Prefecture: This is a Kurikyu wooden rice container (ohitsu) that I purchased. I have used it with care, but my family situation has changed, and its frequency of use has decreased. I considered keeping it, as it's a good item, but I thought it would be better to pass it on to someone who will use it, rather than letting it sit unused, so I'm putting it up for sale. When you put freshly cooked rice in it, the scent of cedar wood gently rises, and the rice tastes delicious even when it cools down. In the hot summer, even if I didn't have much appetite for hot rice, the cooled rice from the ohitsu was delicious and very useful. I tried to use it carefully according to the care instructions I received from the store, but there are unavoidable stains from use. I believe it's within a range that doesn't affect eating, but it is a used item, so please check the condition in the photos. The last photo is of the top of the lid. There are slight scratches.
