Set of 6 square bowls with a beautiful celadon fish pattern. Slight chip on the rim (see photos 6 & 9). This is a set of Japanese tableware called "Seika Yugyomon Kakubachi" (青華遊魚文角鉢) by Tachikichi. These are products of Tachikichi, a long-established ceramic and porcelain company in Kyoto. The blue fish and plant patterns are painted using a technique called "sometsuke" (染付). The character "福" (fuku - good fortune) is inscribed on the inside of the bowls, making them a design of good luck.
