Entered Yakushiji Temple and studied under Hashimoto Gyoin. Served as Chief Priest, Vice-Chief Priest, and Kanju (Chief Priest) of the Hosso sect's head temple, Yakushiji Temple, and became the Elder of Yakushiji Temple from August 2009.
