The items for sale were originally wrapped with cotton yarn (MV7040) and have been rewrapped with yarn (MV6040). The finish is almost indistinguishable from the MV6040 (1 pair ¥6710, 2 pairs ¥13420). The balance, hardness, etc., are believed to be as described by the manufacturer (MV6040). Although they have not been used after being rewrapped, they are being offered at a reduced price. The rattan handles, unlike birch handles, have the advantage of "flexibility," but also tend to warp more than necessary.
