This is a one-of-a-kind, handmade sleeveless "chanchanko" (a type of padded vest) that my mother had someone make for her decades ago. It's been carefully sewn. I believe the material is cotton, but I apologize if I'm mistaken... The lining is quilted, and there's no batting inside, so it's not thick and easy to move in. Please check photos 8 and 9. The size is shown in the photos. The armholes are large, making it easy to move, and the overall construction feels large, so I think it would fit someone with a relatively large build. This is just my personal opinion. There are large pockets on both sides of the front. It has been stored in a Japanese chest of drawers for a long time, so there are wrinkles throughout, and it has a mothball smell. Please understand. Thank you.
