I made a two-layer taiko obi from a fukuro obi. It can be worn with formal attire such as visiting kimonos, tomesode, and plain kimonos. It is separated into the taiko part and the part that wraps around the body. The belt that wraps around the waist is free size and wraps around. It is 186cm long. The taiko is secured with Velcro, so you can adjust the size of the taiko. You can store it by extending the obi's crest, so there are no creases on the crest. It can also be stored in a tatou paper, which is also appealing.
