As they grow, you can remove the elastic and wear them like half pants. You can make the garment last longer by removing the shoulder tucks. The seams are sewn with a loose stitch for easy unraveling. The jacket ties with four strings. The hakama pants have elastic in the waist and hem. The elastic can be replaced. The ribbon has a brooch pin on the back. It is removable and comes with a tassel. The elastic for the included headband is made to be 40cm long.
