For sale is the AF Zoom NIKKOR ED 80-200mm F2.8D, a large-aperture telephoto zoom lens that has maintained its popularity since its release in 1996 and continues to be a current product. It comes with the original hood, which is often missing when purchased. Also included is the rear lens cap. This is a legendary Nikon lens that was all the rage. It's a fantastic lens with a reputation for excellent image quality, often referred to as one of the "holy trinity" lenses. Regarding the lens, it has been mounted on an F5 and is fully functional. The exterior is also very clean, with no signs of impact, considering its 30-year age. The lens condition is very clear, even when light from an LED is passed through it. However, upon close inspection, there are 2-3 very small spots of mold on the inner lens element near the front element. You might be able to see them if you zoom in on the photos (7th and 8th photos). They have absolutely no effect on the photos taken. If stored in a dry box from now on, the mold is unlikely to grow. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. The front and rear lens surfaces are very clean. This is a zoom lens that has been used infrequently. The Nikon F5 in the photos is not included, as it has been purchased and is no longer in my possession. If you have an F5, this lens pairs very well with it, so please consider it. This zoom lens cost approximately 200,000 yen at the time. It's amazing to get it at this price. It's an absolute bargain at this price! The combined weight of the F5 and the zoom lens exceeds 2.5kg, but even without VR, it surprisingly remains steady when hand-held and taking photos with the F5. It almost feels like image stabilization is working. It can also be mounted on older Nikon digital cameras.
