A set of 5 bowls: 2 rice bowls and 3 small bowls, dating from the Taisho to early Showa periods. What's cool about these bowls is the red lacquer splashed on the outside, creating a landscape effect. The shape of the bowls is also nice, so you might enjoy displaying them. Both rice bowls have lacquer peeling on the rims. Some of the small bowls are in good condition, but others have signs of repair. Horizontal lines, like cracks, appear due to aging. They have a good luster, and being wooden bowls, they fit comfortably in your hand. The maker's mark is in red lacquer on the foot. Offered at a low price.
