This is a handmade tunic/dress made from remade kimono fabric. I believe it's tsumugi (pongee). The fabric is neither too thick nor too thin, and feels somewhat stiff, perhaps due to the starch. It seems like it wouldn't wrinkle easily. It's been gathered and switched at the bust line. I'm not an expert on kimonos. I use vintage fabric. I wash and iron the items before finishing them. Because the fabric is vintage, there may be stains, holes, or damage, and I try to avoid using those areas as much as possible. I try to note any flaws I find, but it's not perfect.
