This is a drama CD of "Kindaichi Case Files" released by Kodansha in 1997 for 2300 yen (tax included). At the time of its release, the series had already been animated, but this CD features the same voice actors as the previous work, "Akuma Kumikyoku Satsujin Jiken" (Devil's Serenade Murder Case). The voice actors are: Kindaichi - Toshihiko Seki, Miyuki - Kyoko Hikami, and Kenmochi - Hideyuki Umezawa. Ryotaro Okiayu plays Akechi, who is featured on the mini-CD. In addition to the main CD, a mini-CD featuring "Akechi Keishi no Karei Naru Kyujitsu" (The Elegant Holiday of Inspector Akechi) and a booklet are also included. This CD is quite valuable because it hasn't been adapted into other formats, with only one special anime made. As it is a very old product, the case shows significant discoloration and stains, and there are some damaged parts. However, the contents are relatively clean, and I listened to it all the way through for the first time in over 10 years, and there were no audio issues, such as skipping or stopping. There is some minor dirt on the disc. Also, the center part that secures the disc is broken, and the disc easily comes loose. Therefore, the case and the disc will be shipped separately. Please be aware of this.
