The condition is good. 【Artist's Description】 Shinran Shonin (1173-1262) was a Buddhist monk of the Kamakura period and the founder of Jodo Shinshu (Ikko sect). He preached the teachings of "Tariki Hongan" ("Other-Power Vow"), which states that "all people are saved by the original vow of Amida Buddha (<>Nembutsu<>)." He showed ordinary people the path to salvation while remaining "bonbu (people with many delusions)" during an era of strict ascetic practices, and he established Shinshu. After修行 at Mount Hiei, he became a disciple of Honen Shonin, and later was exiled to Echigo (Niigata Prefecture). While spreading Nembutsu in the Kanto region, he wrote "Kyogyoshinsho."
