I upcycled an old mochi box (morobuta). I applied oil stain (oak color) and attached fabric from a disassembled kimono that I had at home. I made it with the image of those wooden boxes found in Japanese inns, where yukata and other items are placed. Please use it as you like. I am a complete amateur, so there are uneven paint, areas where paint was missed, and parts where the fabric isn't perfectly attached. The wooden box itself is about 70 years old, so it has chips, cracks, and other damage. It has been finished with a vintage feel. I would appreciate your understanding in this regard.
