These are the "Chōju no Ohashi" (Long Life Chopsticks) that were sold in a limited edition by Kōwa Foods when Agonshū held the 61st Grand Shichinen Sengu Festival and Daidaitō Gomakū (Great Fire Ritual) at Ise Grand Shrine in 1993. These are precious chopsticks made from white nandina, a sacred tree of Ise Grand Shrine. They are, of course, brand new and unused. The founder, Great Master Kyōyū Kiriyama, performed prayers for good health, long life, and marital harmony. This is a rare commemorative item.
