This is a MEMLITE series desk lamp, manufactured by MEM (Midland Electric Manufacturing), an electrical product manufacturer founded in Birmingham, England in 1908. It was produced for factory work from the 1940s onwards. The heavy square base and rugged arm may appear inorganic at first glance, but the rounded shade and the aged steel's characterful expression create a somewhat warm atmosphere. It was purchased from the antique furniture shop "transista." The base with the switch rotates, and the arm can be adjusted at two points, as can the shade. A felt pad that fits perfectly under the base is included. There is no major damage, but there are dents, scuffs, and rust overall. This vintage feel is cool, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about it.
