This is a Gibson J-45 Studio. It has a bright, crisp sound, possibly because the sides and back are walnut and the body is thinner than a standard J-45. I purchased it used, and it has a repaired crack near the soundhole from when I bought it. However, it's only noticeable if you look closely, and I don't think it affects the sound. It's been properly repaired from the back, so I don't think there's a problem, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. There are some minor scratches from normal use, but no noticeable dents, so I think it's in beautiful condition. Also, the previous owner replaced the saddle with a black Tusq saddle and the bridge pins with buffalo bone pins. The neck condition is also good, and I haven't had to touch the truss rod since I bought it. It will be shipped in an SKB semi-hard case, wrapped in bubble wrap.
