Just arrived today. I have confirmed that the power turns on. I tested its operation. However, this is not a perfect operational check. It played normally while charging. The reason for the "as-is" condition is that both units likely need battery replacements. They are old, but I think they are in relatively good condition, but please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about the condition. Both units come with the main body only.
