Five fragments of Haji ware from the Yayoi to Kofun periods. They are takatsuki (high-stemmed vessels) and koshiki (steamers). I understand they were excavated from the Yahagi River riverbed ruins in Aichi Prefecture. The largest piece (the one on the left in the first image) is approximately 9cm x 10cm. Why not hold something made over 1000 years ago in your hands and feel the romance?
