Thank you very much for viewing this item. This is a guitar made in Brazil, the home of Bossa Nova. It's a rare instrument that is not often seen in Japan these days. Manufacturer: De, Giorgio Model: Sinorina No 16 Made in 2003 String height: Approximately 2.3mm at the 12th fret, 6th string Fret remaining: Approximately 80% The fingerboard appears to be ebony. Hard case included. This is a famous manufacturer, considered by many to be the guitar to play Bossa Nova! The body size is similar to a single O, making it easy to hold and very maneuverable. The headstock carving is also exquisite and quite stylish. The low string height makes it very easy to play Bossa Nova chord work and fast passages. The rosette around the soundhole was custom-installed separately, but it's attached with tape and can be removed. The bridge area feels slightly bulged, but it doesn't affect playability at all. It has a K&K Twin Internal pickup installed, making it ready for live performances (preamp recommended). It's an excellent pickup that produces a neutral sound. I'm not sure about the top, sides, and back materials, but the sides and back are possibly Pau Ferro (please judge from the photos). As it's made in Brazil, a country known for its relaxed approach, there may be some rough finishing details, but please consider this part of the Brazilian character. Overall, it's a beautiful guitar with no noticeable dents or cracks in the wood. It's a great deal, especially with the K&K pickup included.
