This is a porcelain *choko* (small sake cup) made by Senryu Shuzo, the brewery of "Honjin" sake in Nagasaki. I believe it is Mikawachi ware. The following is an excerpt: The unique design of the porcelain, known nationwide as "Karako" (Chinese children), is famous as the kiln mark of the official kiln of the Hirado clan lord, Lord Matsura. This "Iro-Karako" design is a faithful reproduction on a *yunomi* (teacup) or *guinomi* (sake cup) of the design on the matcha bowl exclusively used by Lord Matsura, which was kept and passed down at the Matsura Honjin residence during his travels between Edo and Nagasaki.
