This item is reminiscent of the protagonist's companion's trunk, as seen in films like "Tora-san" and the "Kindaichi Kosuke Series." It's a vintage leather suitcase with travel stickers, giving it a unique texture. It has many scratches, but perhaps it's nice to reflect on the history this trunk has shared with its owner. My father received it from an acquaintance and stored it in the warehouse. It appears to have been used in the 1930s (Showa era), judging from an envelope inside with "2603" printed on it (photo 10). The original owner's town and name are stamped on the inside (blurred green area in photos 7 and 9). There is no key. The lock can be opened by sliding the outer keyhole.
