This is the obi core that was inside an old maru obi. There are some discoloration from folds, small stains, and small cuts on the selvedge in places, but overall, I think it's in a beautiful condition. It's a sturdy fabric with thick threads, but softer than canvas. It has a great feel, and I think it's a fabric that makes you want to use it.
