In 1991, a woman injured in an attack was found near a forest. According to the woman's testimony, the perpetrator's methods were strikingly similar to those of a serial killer who was supposed to have been caught three years prior, revealing that the previous arrest was a misidentification. The real serial killer had been repeatedly committing brutal crimes for over 10 years, murdering 36 people. Issa, the head of the investigation, corners the new suspect, Andrei Valita, and becomes convinced that he is the true culprit during the interrogation. Eventually, a shocking truth is revealed from Valita's mouth. Directed and written by Rado Kubataniya, making his feature film debut, the film is modeled after numerous serial killers, including Andrei Chikatilo, who was arrested for murdering over 50 people between 1978 and 1990. The film constructs the criminal's persona through interviews with detectives, psychiatrists, and criminologists. Nika Tabadze from "Let's Go to the Vineyard" plays the detective Issa.
