Agnes B. tweed jacket. Made in France, originally planned for the French market. Features a dusky green color as the base. The inside is lined with a lustrous gold fabric made of cotton and viscose blend. Thick tweed and a luxurious construction with tightly twisted lining. This item was made during the period when the early Agnes B. shifted production from Japan (where they had received assistance) back to France to protect French manufacturers, resulting in materials that were made without regard to cost. This jacket was given to me by an acquaintance from England and has been stored for a long time. There are pinholes on the right shoulder, areas where the fabric has thinned, and a few on the right sleeve. I have carefully checked, but please understand that there may be other minor oversights.
