This battery (5000mAh) has more than enough capacity for fishing trips, and its size and weight are not a burden on luggage (1.83kg). I've been using it for 3 years myself, and it has worked without any problems for 6-hour boat fishing trips (e.g., for hairtail) with an 80-go sinker at a depth of about 80m, with frequent raising and lowering, right to the end. I also use it to power my fish finder and to inflate my boat. The charger has low output, but it's fine if you charge it the day before your fishing trip, and it puts less stress on the battery than rapid charging. For all batteries, the secret to longevity is to avoid high temperatures and over-discharge. 1: Do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods. 2: After your fishing trip, rinse off salt and then charge.
