This is a dyed indigo cotton michiyuki coat. I believe it's from the Edo to Meiji periods. It's made of sturdy cotton fabric, and the lining is also plain indigo. The collar is made of black cotton, and the fabric is weak with holes. There are openings on the front and sides, where strings can be passed through, as shown in image 6. There are scuffs, stains, and damage to the collar. Please understand this before purchasing.
