Measuring cups. No branding or text. Unused, but not new. Material: Hinoki cypress The larger one is 1 sho (approx. 1.8 liters), and the smaller one is 5 go (approx. 0.9 liters). Set of 2. The bottoms are not flat; they are raised (have a recess), making them easy to grip. The 5-go cup fits inside the 1-sho cup for space-saving storage! How about using them for measuring rice, adzuki beans, or sake? *Note!* There is some discoloration due to aging, and hinoki-specific resin (sap) has seeped out (harmless). I rubbed them to some extent with anhydrous ethanol. It ended up disinfecting them with alcohol. (^^;) Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about perfection.
