NY Classic New York Classic Trumpet Mouthpiece 3M Modified This is a New York Classic trumpet mouthpiece. * Although the size is 3M, it has been modified at Toshi Trumpet Atelier in Hamamatsu. 3M is equivalent to a Bach 1-1/2 rim, but the 3M felt shallow, like a D cup. A deeper 3C felt like a Bach B cup, so I requested a modification to be in between, roughly the depth of a 1-1/2C. (The engraving remains 3M.) How about this for those who like the New York Classic rim and a 1-1/2C size? There are scratches from use, but there are no scratches or dents that would interfere with playing.
