I have created a thread spool stand with a pincushion, reminiscent of those found in French antique merceries. The stand is made from new materials and has been treated to give it an antique look. The thin rods for holding spools of thread are glued to the base. The thicker rod in the center is designed to hold thread snips. I have attached a brown pincushion adorned with flowers that were originally on a wedding dress purchased at a flea market in Paris. When you place spools of thread and thread snips on it, it will look like the reference photo (photo 1). For shipping, the thicker rod in the center will be detached, as shown in photo 4. Please screw it back in. The pincushion is filled with silicone cotton, which helps prevent needles from rusting. *Please understand that the color variations are intentional and part of the charm of the antique finish.
