The latest collaboration between the architectural design firm "TRIPSTER," led by Kunichi Nomura, and Dickies®, the famous "Gentleman's Dickies," will be released on December 24th (Wednesday). This project started in 2018 with the slogan "Gentleman's Dickies." As a savior for men in situations where they need to wear a suit, such as dates, weddings, funerals, important meetings, and special occasions, "TRIPSTER" and Dickies® have proposed a new era of suits that combine style and formality. The latest 8th edition features a wool-blend tweed fabric suitable for the upcoming season. This is the first tweed setup since 2019 in this project. It offers excellent heat retention and moisture absorption/release, and the soft unevenness and shadows not seen in other fabrics create an elegant and sophisticated impression. The silhouette follows the improved specifications from the previous 7th edition. The jacket has a slightly narrower chest opening and a short, boxy fit. Combined with the tweed texture, it has a more dressy appearance. The pleated pants have a gentle taper from the thighs to the ankles, enhancing the formal impression. With the new year approaching, there will be opportunities to dress sharply, such as for the first shrine visit, graduation and entrance ceremonies, and important events.
