The red seconds hand, unique to the 60th Anniversary model, asserts a definite individuality even amidst the quiet elegance. The finishing of the case and bracelet is also exceptionally beautiful, and holding it in your hands, you can strongly feel the high level of perfection that is characteristic of Grand Seiko. This model is a limited edition with a serial number, and No. 0289/2000, a relatively low number, is also one of its attractive features. Furthermore, the Grand Seiko 9F quartz, which the brand is proud of worldwide, has a high-torque design that reliably drives the thick, substantial hands. The battery was replaced on December 28, 2025, at a shop in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, staffed by a certified watchmaker (cost: 2,600 yen).
