I purchased this about three years ago for a class and used it. There are no noticeable stains, but the corners are slightly folded and show signs of use (see photos 2 and 3). There are also small, inconspicuous scratches on the cover. There are no markings inside. I believe it can be used without any problems, but please understand that this is a used item.
