I counted the number of folded pieces, and it seems to be about 6 meters in length when converted to a bolt of fabric. I haven't removed the thread, but I think it's the wash and stretched fabric of something like a haori (a type of Japanese jacket). (Since it's wash and stretched fabric, I think the parts are connected to make the width of the bolt of fabric.) Please be aware that I don't think it was originally a kimono. How about using it for remakes, crafts, and handmade projects? It has been stored for a long time and is a used item.
