For sale: Paul Reed Smith 1980 West Street Limited. Please read the following profile of this guitar carefully. ◎ First, the biggest flaw of this West Street Limited, clouding, unfortunately exists on this guitar as well. Those considering purchasing this guitar are likely aware that many of this model have clouding. I have uploaded multiple photos clearly showing the clouding, so please confirm them carefully. It was possible to take photos that make the clouding less noticeable depending on the angle, but I have not done anything underhanded like that. ◎ I purchased this guitar new in 2011. From the time I pre-ordered it at the store, I decided that I would buy it "just to satisfy my desire to own it." Therefore, I had the string height and octave adjusted immediately after purchase, and I enjoyed playing it carefully for a short time in my room for about a week. Other than that, I have not used it at all until I test-played it to confirm its condition for this sale. ◎ Therefore, the total playing time is estimated to be about 10 hours at most. ◎ I have never taken it outside of my home. ◎ I have never put it in any case other than the dedicated hard case (gig bag or soft case). ◎ The fingerboard is Brazilian rosewood. (Certificate available) ◎ Due to the history described above, there are no dents, scratches, or noticeable scuffs. (Minor wiping marks that can be seen even on new guitars are occasionally visible) ◎ The frets also have over 99% remaining due to this history. ◎ There are no issues with the sound for the purpose of this sale. Each pickup, volume, and tone work properly. There is no crackling. ◎ I have never touched the truss rod. ◎ The neck condition is in the best condition (slightly forward bowed, allowing for a low string height and easy playability). ◎ For shipping, I will loosen the strings, fill the gaps inside the hard case with newspaper, and wrap the hard case in multiple layers of bubble wrap. I will not use a cardboard box. ◎ As this is an expensive guitar, I am also open to a direct handover if you can pick it up in Saitama City. For the peace of mind of both parties, I am considering meeting and handing it over in front of a nearby police station. (I have had a similar direct handover experience once before.)
