This item is a set including a viola body, bow(s), and case. I am selling this instrument as I no longer need it after retiring from an amateur orchestra. As I mainly play the violin, I only played the viola occasionally, so the usage frequency was low as it wasn't my main instrument or case. The set includes the following: ■ Viola Body The label on the body reads "Kang Yo Qi." I believe it's a relatively inexpensive instrument made in China, which I purchased to simply play the viola. The back features bird's eye maple, which has a very striking pattern. The front is plain, creating a strong contrast. The sound quality is very light. While it might develop some depth with playing, I believe the potential is low. Please consider it as an instrument that will suffice for playing. The chin rest is a SAS pear wood model, and I have replaced the adjusters with Wittner adjusters. The body size is 40.5 cm in length. ■ Two Bows One bow is made of pernambuco wood, and the other is carbon fiber. Both bows have no warping, but the hair likely needs to be replaced. The pernambuco bow is stamped "James Dodd, London." If genuine, it would be quite expensive, but its authenticity is unknown. I purchased it for tens of thousands of yen, and the fitting was stable with a balanced center of gravity, making finger movements easy. The pernambuco bow weighs 60g, and the carbon fiber bow weighs 70g. The pernambuco bow might be a violin bow. ■ Shoulder Rest It is a shoulder rest similar to a Mach One. ■ String Set, Rosin There is a set of Helicore strings and some other strings of unknown brands. I haven't managed their condition, so they might not be usable. The rosin is MILLANT, with some signs of use, but about 90% remains. ■ bam Viola Case This is the ET2200XLGR Greige model. It's a high-quality French-made case with leather on the front, giving it a luxurious feel. The retail price is currently around 170,000 yen. There are minor scratches from use, but overall, it's in very good condition as I haven't taken it outside much. The keys and tags are also included. I plan to ship via Rakuraku Mercari.
