Made from washed, good-condition antique fabric scraps. Because the fabric is thin, soft interfacing has been applied to both the han-eri (collar) and obijime (cord). The han-eri has a soft, plump finish. The maruguke (round cord) is thick, giving it a retro feel. There are signs of unraveling and needle marks, but they will be hidden as they are on the back of the collar. See photo 11.
